NailArt Sunday – Wicked Baby Tiger

Sunday, September 2nd, 2012

After seeing all the lovely nail art manicures that pop up every Sunday thanks to Lela’s NailArt Sundays, I thought I’d try to come up with something as well for this Sunday. The base is China Glaze Wicked Style, and I did a simple gradient with the light pink Dance Baby on the tips, using a sponge. When that was done I had no idea what to do next.  After some fails on my right hand I decided to just do some simple stripes with a black Ink Nail Art polish from NYX. One coat of Seche Vite, and then it was done!

I really like this, and I’ll be sad to see it go. But I’ll probably do something like this again in the future.

Neutral Look with Urban Decay Naked

Monday, November 22nd, 2010

So here’s a neutral everyday look that I tried out with my newly acquired Naked palette from Urban Decay:

The headband is just for covering the terrible state my hair was in.. =)

And yes, I was too lazy to put on some concealer.. Here’s what I’ve used:

Meow – Flawless Feline foundation in Sleek Siamese
Make Up Store – Blush Sugar Muffin (probably not very visible, I’m a blush newb!)

Urban Decay – Primer Potion
Urban Decay – Virgin on the entire lid and on brow bone
Urban Decay – Sin on top of Virgin on the lid, except for the inner third
Urban Decay – Toasted on outer third of the lid and in crease
Urban Decay – Hustle lightly applied in outer v, and along lower lash line
Isadora – Inliner kajal Blonde on water line
ELF – gel liner in True Black on upper lash line
Lancome – Hypnose Precious Cells Mascara on upper lashes
Claudia – Wonderlash Mascara on lower lashes

Nyx – Slim lip pencil in Nude Pink
Nyx – Round lipstick in Tea Rose

Cherry Culture Haul!

Tuesday, November 16th, 2010

I just wanted to show you some goodies from my latest Cherry Culture haul. So first we have the nail polishes, all from L.A. Girl:

L.A. Girl polishes

From left to right: Obsidian, Iron Red, Trilogy, Scandal, and Overdose. I just love the Metal and Rock Star collections! I know that Scandal is quite sheer, so I’ll probably use that one for layering.

And then I ordered some lip stuff as well:

Nyx Round lipstick in the shade Paris, and two Slim Lip pencils: Deep Purple and Nude Pink. Deep Purple was a bit more red than I expected, but I think I’ll have use for it anyway. Oh, and the thing in the background is my bling bling dragon that lives on my vanity table =)

I do love the lipstick, its a gorgeous pink color!

Millennium cow nails

Sunday, August 15th, 2010

This is an altered design from what I’ve had once in a while before, cow nails, but this time with silver as a base. For this I’ve used China Glaze Millennium, and the cow spots are made with a toothpick and Nyx Ink Nail art in black. I tried using the brush first but I failed quite miserably. Sorry for the bad photos and the tip wear, but I hope you can get a sense of it anyway.
