China Glaze – Sunshine Pop

March 4th, 2012

I was thinking of saving Sunshine Pop for Easter, but I tried it on quickly last weekend since Cactus wanted to see it. I started off with three coats, but then I made a dent on my long finger nail while photographing, so I added another coat but then it got a bit messy.. =) The finish seems to be a shimmer that leans a bit towards frost, so you can get some visible brush strokes if you’re not careful with it. But it was still pretty easy to work with for being a yellow polish, even though the formula is a little thick.

This is taken indoors in natural light:

The next photo is taken with flash:

It’s a fun and bright yellow color (that does not complement my skin tone at all..), and if you just take your time with it and don’t do a sloppy job like mine I think it can look pretty good. But I have to warn you, it will stain your nails with an awful nicotine shade, so I recommend using a base coat with this one.

    Yey 😀
